Police are asking the public for their help to trace a missing man.

Darren James Veevers has gone missing from his home in Ormskirk.

The 37-year-old is originally from the Preston area and has been spotted by members of the public at Preston Bus Station and in Fishergte.

A statement from Skelmersdale Police said: “There is nothing to suggest he is of any danger to anyone but we would ask that if you do see him, you ring us on 101 quoting log number LC-20170130-0377 and offer as much information to us as you can with regards to where you saw him, what time you saw him, if he was in company with anyone else and if you can recall it, what he was wearing.

“We are fully aware and appreciative of how helpful social media and members of the public can be in assisting us find people who are reported missing because people who have been reported missing in the past have been found safe and well as a direct result of members of the public seeing our appeals and getting in touch with us.”
