Chainsaw theft leads to police appeal in Preston

Police are hunting a chainsaw thief after an incident at a building site in Preston.

A JCB chopsaw worth around £150 was taken from an office conversion in Cross Street near Winckley Square.

The incident on Saturday 14 January took place around 4.45pm.

An offender walked through to the rear of the property and got in through the back door.

Preston Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident.
