Part of the M6 near Preston has been shut due to a crash.

A car is on its side between Junction 31A and Junction 31 (Tickled Trout) on the southbound carriageway.

Two lanes are shut and Lancashire Police ha officers on the scene along with Highways England.

No one is understood to have been hurt in the crash which saw a car transport trailer on its side.

The incident took place shortly after 4pm on Saturday (25 February).

Both lanes have now been reopened but delays are back to Junction 32 as of 6pm on Saturday.
