Footage has been released by police investigating an attempted robbery at a pharmacy in Preston.
Around 3.15pm on Thursday 9 February a man entered the New Hall Lane Pharmacy, Fishwick.
He came from the direction of Knowles Street and upon entering the building he brandished a large knife and jumped over the counter.
Staff members were threatened who were working in the store at the time.
A builder, working upstairs at the time, came downstairs and chased the attacker out of the store.

The offender was last seen running towards Fishwick Parade.
DC Justin Singleton of Preston CID said: “This is a shocking incident which happened in broad daylight in a busy shop and it has left the members of staff feeling extremely scared. The fact that staff members were threatened with a large knife during the incident makes it all the more frightening.
“If anyone has any information about what happened I would urge them to get in touch. We are particularly keen to talk anyone who was near to the scene at the time of the incident and may have seen the man in the CCTV footage.”
