Another view of the Innovation House development
A decision on whether a huge new block of student flats can be built in Preston has been delayed.
Innovation House is proposed for the former Powell’s biscuit factory site off Moor Lane.
Developers Ladson Group were left frustrated due to a late submission by Lancashire County Council.
Two new buildings with a total of 218 apartments would be built in the four-storey blocks.

A short walk from the University of Central Lancashire campus the student flats were due for approval.
Mr Ladson says the plans are now due to be heard at the February meeting of the city council’s planning committee.
