Street Monkeys took over Flag Market to celebrate parkour

One of the Street Monkeys leaping into action

Street Monkeys, the local Parkour team, held a press hour on the Harris Flag Market.

The press hour involved a hub of journalists discovering all about the Street Monkeys and what they do.

The professional free running and parkour team specialises in teaching the parkour discipline which uses movement developed from military obstacle course training in the fastest and most efficient way.

The press hour was held following the recent recognition of parkour as a sport, as the team hoped to inform the journalists about the exciting sport along with offering photo opportunities of the Street Monkeys in action.

At the exciting event the Street Monkeys discussed how they plan to move the sport forward, with a desire to expand in the North West.

The group have recently celebrated reaching a total of 1000 members in the Street Monkeys Academy, hoping to inspire and welcome more young people to the team.
