Preston pub regulars see off attacker during Friday night incident

Pub regulars forced a knife-wielding man from the pub after he attacked another man.


Preston Police were called to The Wellington pub in Glover’s Court after the incident on Friday (27 January) night.

Between 9.25pm and 9.30pm a 32-year-old man was punched and threatened with a knife in Skye Street.

The victim ran off towards the Wellington and was pursued inside by his attacker.

The attacker was forced to leave by members of the public.
