Part of Preston Golf Club is to be built on to create new family homes.
AdvertisementThe golf club has identified part of the course it no longer needs.
More than five acres is to be built on to the left of the entrance road off Fulwood Hall Lane.
The twelve homes would have a minimum of four bedrooms.
Plans from planning consultants Cassidy + Ashton show the homes are to be built just behind the golf club’s car park.
They state: “The proposal will result in a modern and contemporary development that fits comfortably within the site. The development of this site will have no detrimental impact upon the site or adjacent land uses.
“The scheme also represents a sustainable form of development and does not undermine development plan policies. ”
