A former newsagents in Fulwood is to become a new cafe.

On the corner of Sharoe Green Lane and Watling Street Road the shop has been empty for a number of months.

Now Sohel Seedat has applied to open a cafe and sandwich shop to serve nearby workers.

He proposed the cafe will serve ‘hot and cold food and drinks’ which are to be consumed on the premises. It will be open from 9am to 5pm.

Plans from ZV Design states: “The cafe will cater for existing businesses in the immediate locality, as well as Royal Preston Hospital and Preston’s College. It is anticipated customers will come on foot.”
