Man wanted to appear in court following theft in 2009

A Preston man failed to appear in court in relation to an incident nearly EIGHT years ago.

Barry Hayward, 41, has a warrant issued by the courts for failing to appear at Preston Crown Court in December last year.

He was charged with theft relating to an incident in May 2009.

Hayward is described as white, 6’1″, of medium build, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Preston Police say heĀ also has a scar near his left eye, a tattoo of ‘Ash’ in the centre of his neck and further tattoos on his right arm and wrist. Hayward has links to the Preston, Hesketh Bank and Southport areas.
