Fire spinning is due to take place

Flames are going to leap around Avenham and Miller Parks during Sunday.

Fire spinning is taking place and anyone can give it a go.

Organiser Joshua Holden says he’s hoping to make it a monthly meetup ahead of a doing a huge circus show in the summer.

He said: “We welcome all people of all ages who are highly interested in seeing what hidden local talent lies in Preston.”

Circus artists will be performing near the Gazebo in Miller Park.

Designated spin off areas are being drawn out and paraffin is to be on hand for communal use, requiring a £3 donation or a whole carton for £6.

The fire spinners are going to be there from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday (8 January).
