An elderly man remains in a serious condition in hospital following a Christmas Day crash in Preston.
A couple driving a Skoda Fabia are both still being treated in Royal Preston Hospital.
The 61-year-old man, a passenger, and the driver, a 59-year-old woman, were hurt in the crash in Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood.
A 27-year-old man, who was driving a Golf which was also involved, is still in hospital and is helping police with their enquiries.
The incident happened heading towards the A6 where Lightfoot Lane near the junction where you turn from one section of Lightfoot Lane into the main Lightfoot Lane.
A spokeswoman for Preston Police said: “The couple are still in hospital and will be for some time.
“The woman sustained fractures to both legs which required surgery. Her husband and front seat passenger suffered serious chest injuries and remain in hospital.”

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the crash which happened at 10.30pm.
Sgt Tracey Ward, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “This was a serious collision which has left one man extremely poorly in hospital and I would appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has any information, to come forward and contact us.”
