Cyclists who use Preston Railway Station are being warned the bike racks are being removed.
AdvertisementVirgin Trains is taking the bike racks from Platform 7 as part of the £1.5million revamp of the station.
Instead those who enjoy arriving on two wheels are being told to use the new bike hub.
Attached to the Leisure Lakes cycle shop on the Butler Street side of the station it has space for 200 bikes and is accessible 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week.

The bike hub was officially opened before Christmas and offers a secure space to keep bikes and direct access to the platforms.
A free fob is needed to access the bike hub which can be picked up from the Leisure Lakes Cycle shop.

The bike racks are due to be removed during the week of Monday 9 January.
