Hundreds of demonstrators made their feelings known towards Donald Trump’s executive order bringing in stricter travel controls to visitors from seven countries.

Branded as a ‘Muslim Ban’ due to the seven countries having largely Muslim populations the move has drawn criticism from across the political spectrum.

Prestonians also showed their anger towards the US President’s move as part of a nationwide protest from 6pm on Monday (30 January).

Around 400 people joined the peaceful protest on the Flag Market under the Martin Creed art installation Everything Is Going To Be Alright on the Harris.
