Rio’s not been seen since Monday night

A parrot has gone missing from his home in Lea.

His name is Rio and he’s flown away from Sheffield Drive.

His owner has been left devastated and Preston Police have appealed for information and sightings.

The Indian Ringneck parrot was startled on the evening of Monday 12 December and flew off.

PCSO Stephen Connolly said: “Rio is a very friendly parrot who loves to chat and is extremely friendly. He is mainly Green with bright red on both wings, yellow beak and pale blue on his tail.

“The owner of the parrot is devastated and she has asked for any help we can give.”
