Preston photographer begins annual Christmas Tree challenge

The Christmas Tree in the Flag Market Pic: Keith Sergeant

The countdown to the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ is once again being documented by a Preston photographer.

Keith Sergeant sets himself the challenge of photographing a different Christmas Tree each day.

He posts them onto his Flickr page, and the Preston Flickr group page, and he’s started with perhaps the most obvious one.

As part of Preston’s Christmas lights the city has a Christmas Tree sitting on the Flag Market, in front of the Harris Museum and Art Gallery.

The 10m tree has been attracting quite a bit of attention, as it’s an artificial tree.
