A Preston restaurant is to open its doors on Christmas Day to feed the homeless and the lonely.
Anyone can visit Lola an Egyptian-themed restaurant in London Road.
Owner Walaa Hassan has decided to offer the free food at what can be the most difficult time of year for some.
From 5pm on Christmas Day there will be no food sold, all food and soft drinks are to be free.

He said: “If anyone has no family or just wants somebody to spend the day with we will be open.
“We have food and soft drinks all for free.
“Please anyone who wants to come you are more than welcome.
“We wish to see you all and Merry Christmas.”
