The Seasonal Shorts book has been doing well in the Amazon charts
A group of Preston authors have pulled their creativity together to release a selection of short Christmas stories.
Seasonal Shorts is an anthology of 26 short stories and poems collated and formatted by Preston-based author Janice Cumberlidge.
Available for free on the Kindle (until Wednesday 21 December) and as a paperback (£3.99) it’s a great stocking filler.
The book has already reached the Top 10 in the free Amazon Kindle download chart for anthologies.
The idea for the book came from the Just Write writing group who meet at the Ham and Jam coffee shop in Lancaster Road.

They held a flash fiction afternoon and put the stories into the collection.
The group was started in early 2016 by Susan Moffat, a graduate of the University of Central Lancashire, who wanted to create an environment for people to learn, share stories and get feedback from fellow creatives.

Since then, the group has grown and are not only writing together but also planning a series of masterclasses on writing techniques, self-publishing and author marketing in the New Year. They meet every Sunday.
