A police van is the latest victim of the new look road layout in Preston city centre.

The emergency services vehicle came a cropper on the new Church Street lampposts.

Lancashire Police confirmed the van had been left with two punctures to both tyres.

An eyewitness said they saw the van clip the kerb, causing the tyres to rupture, outside the Twelve Tellers pub.
