Main Bamber Bridge road reopens following crash

Police closed a main road in Bamber Bridge due to a crash.

The junction of Station Road with St Mary’s Road, with Dominos pizza on the corner, was shut by police for more than two hours.

Diversions were in place and the road is was closed during Tuesday (27 December).

The incident happened shortly before 6pm, and is understood to involve a moped and a car.

Stagecoach says diverted its 125 service along Brownedge Lane, London Way and Lostock Lane in both directions due to the crash.

Lancashire Police reopened Station Road in both directions at 8.10pm on Tuesday.
