The Christmas Festival at St Catherine’s Hospice took place during Saturday (3 December) and Sunday (4 December).
It included the Santa Dash, a 2km sprint for those in red and white suits around Lostock Hall and the hospice grounds.
Nearly 200 people took on the trek as well as the shorter Rudoph Rumble, a favourite for families and kids.
Senior fundraiser at the hospice Norman Cutler said: “Our Christmas Festival weekend has been full of terrific festive family fun, and the sponsored Dash and Rumble both add to the colour, excitement and atmosphere.
“We are delighted that hundreds of people have supported St Catherine’s this weekend to help us keep on looking after local friends and neighbours when they really need us, and especially at this emotional time of the year.
“Fundraising is really tough at the moment so events like our Christmas Festival are more important than ever. Our grateful thanks go to all those wonderful people who have been with us this weekend helping us in so many different ways.”
