A Preston boy has seen a present pinched on Christmas Day.

Four-year-old Joshua from Deepdale had the red motorbike taken from the front garden.

His older sister Nicola said the family were distraught at the theft.

She said: “The motorbike was in the front garden, so they must have opened the gate and gone to the front of the garage where it was propped up.

“He only got it today for Christmas and was riding around on it this morning.

“We haven’t reported it to the police yet as my Mum doesn’t want the fuss and I am hoping someone will see this and give it back.”

Update: Joshua has got his bike back!

The toy was taken between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Christmas Day.

Joshua has autism and ADHD and Nicola said he is very upset his motorbike toy has gone.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the family on 07857420114.
