A driver has been pulled over and faces court action for a terrifying manoeuvre in Brockholes Brow.
Heading down the A59 out of Preston and the Ford Focus goes onto the wrong side of the road in front of a marked police car.
The incident, which happened shortly before 3pm on New Year’s Eve, was captured by the dashcam in the Lancashire Police vehicle.
The car appears to have ‘P’ plates, meaning recently passed, on the back.
Speed recorded is between 28mph and 33mph during the short clip, with the car on the wrong side of the road for more than 10 seconds with other motorists passing it.

The section of road is a notorious accident blackspot in the city, with the deaths of Rachel Marie Murphy and Shelby Maher in April this year making headline news.
Lancashire Road Police officers tweeted: “Driver just performed THIS in front of a marked patrol car in Preston. There are no words! Report to the courts for offences.”
