More than 100 apprentices are being recruited by one of Preston’s biggest employer.

The aerospace firm says it needs a ‘continuous pipeline’ of workers for the submarine programmes at Barrow-in-Furness.
Work on the Dreadnoughts is expected to continue well into the 2030s.
Across the UK more than 2,000 apprentices are being recruited by the company.

The 110 apprentice roles in Lancashire are in military air and information.
