Two men seen walking after the incident at Londis

Police have made an arrest as an investigation into a robbery in Walton-le-Dale continues.

A 38-year-old man from Preston has been arrested on suspicion of robbery following the incident at a Londis Store in Severn Drive.

CCTV footage released by police shows a second man they are still appealing to trace.

A shop worker was threatened with a screw driver during the robbery which took place around 8pm on Sunday 20 November.

A man described as white, aged between 16 and 20, around 5’9″ and of slim build, wearing a white hoodie, is still being sought by police.

Cash was taken from the shop during the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident reference 1256 of November 20th. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
