Roxy shows off her very long tongue!
This American bulldog is needing a home as the RSPCA in Preston gears up for Christmas.
The centre in Longridge Road, Ribbleton, has been looking after six-year-old Roxy.
Roxy has achieved her bronze training award and has all the basic commands nailed, so is ready for a new home.
She’s been at the RSPCA since January and isn’t enjoying kennel life.
Roxy has been struggling in kennels
RSPCA volunteer Ashleigh said: “Everyone at the centre is unsure why she is having little interest as she is so beautiful and when you get to know her you can’t help but fall in love with her.
“I spend a lot of time with Roxy as I am her main trainer and I love nothing more than to go on long walks with her on my days off and I have had her in a home environment on many occasions and she is so well behaved.
“Roxy loves to play with her toys and she loves to snuggle up for cuddles. I absolutely love spending time with Roxy she makes my day brighter and happier. She is funny and loving, she just needs a family to enjoy all she has to give.”

Roxy sometimes just needs to chill
The home needed would need to be a one pet household, as Roxy needs to be the centre of attention.
If you’re interested in adopting Roxy then you can visit the centre from 11.30am to 3.30pm on Wednesdays to Mondays.
