The Twelve Tellers was a TSB Bank Pic: Paul Swarbrick
Preston’s biggest pub The Twelve Tellers was forced to close its doors on Monday (14 November) due to a power cut.
Much of Church Street was affected with supermarket Tesco Express and restaurant East Z East also hit from 12noon onwards. The power was restored by 2pm.
Roadworks have been ongoing outside all three establishments for several months as part of the redevelopment of Fishergate.
It is the third time the businesses have suffered power cuts this year. The Wetherspoons has also been affected by a fire back in May when it had to be evacuated.
