How the new 30-ramp aftersales centre will look
A Preston car dealership is expanding and there will be 30 new jobs going.
Bowker Aftersales Centre is to be built next to the existing Bowker BMW site in Watery Lane, Ashton-on-Ribble.
It was previously used by timber merchants Page and Taylor.
The 6.5 acre site is due to create the new jobs during a five year period and cost more than £1m to build.
Aftersalers director Jonathan Rogan said: “The new facility has a simple focus on creating an even better aftersales experience for our customers. We’ll be able to combine our usual friendly advice with same-day servicing. And the increase in capacity will mean that appointments won’t always be necessary.
“We know our customers lead busy lives so we hope this additional flexibility will make a big difference.”
