Police want to speak to this person
Preston Police have issued a CCTV appeal following a robbery in Fulwood.
Around 9pm yesterday (November 17) a man entered an off licence on Lansdown Hill.
The offender, carrying a kitchen knife, demanded money from a staff member and removed cash from the till before making off.
After leaving the shop the male was seen running down Cheriton Field onto Newbury Green, then onto Lansdown Hill.
He was last seen at the junction of Lansdown Hill and Lightfoot lane, Preston.
The suspect was a white male, 5ft 10in tall, wearing black clothing. He is described as having distinctive blue eyes.
Following the incident, police would like to speak to this man, pictured, in connection with the offence.
Det Con Abid Majid, of Preston CID, said: “We are appealing for information after an off licence was robbed.
“The attacker, dressed all in black, threatened a staff member with a black handled 10in silver blade.
“This was a shocking incident and the victim, a 21-year-old man, has been left very shaken.
“Following CCTV enquiries, we would like to speak to this man. While he is dressed all in black, he was described as having very distinctive blue eyes.
“Anyone who can assist with our enquiries is asked to contact police immediately.”
