Friends of Highgate Wood are holding a quiz night on Saturday 26 November.
Highgate Wood is an area of woodland in Fulwood that booms in nature and wildlife, becoming a beautiful natural environment to be enjoyed by all.
The group âFriends of Highgate Woodâ was formed in 2011 when a few local residents wanted to see the woodland area developed into a place where people could appreciate the nature and wildlife which exists there, encouraging them to create The Highgate Wood project.

The aim of the Friends of Highgate Wood group is to promote the conservation of the wood in the hope of benefiting the residents, visitors and wildlife, and to make these benefits sustainable.
The Quiz Night will be held at St Pius School, located on Garstang Road, Fulwood at 7pm and the proceeds will go towards helping Friends of Highgate Wood maintain and conserve the area.
The evening will include a delicious supper being served, offering a selection of delicious food such as hotpot, lasagne and vegetarian dishes.
Friends of Highgate Wood have held a range of successful events in the past to raise awareness of The Highgate Wood project and raise funds to support the necessary work, including an annual Easter Egg Hunt.
The event also permits you to bring your own drinks.
Admission for the quiz night is by ticket only, and they are priced at ÂŁ10 per person.
Tickets can be bought from Peter Bullman on 01772 712165, and for more information Peter can be contacted on peter@bullman.org.uk
