Carols at the Continental

On the final Sunday before Christmas a modern Preston tradition takes place.

The Continental in South Meadow Lane is packed to the rafters for its annual carol concert.

Carols at the Conti has developed a cult following as the St Stephen’s Community Choir perform.

An evening of carol singing from 8.30pm is free to attend on Sunday 18 December.

The carols take place in the main bar area with carol sheets handed out.

As the pub says: “If there’s a better way to get fully into the Christmas spirit, then we’d like to know what it is!”
