A Preston bar has launched a new Monday night clubnight in the wake of Cameo and Vinyl closing.
AdvertisementThe club on the Market announced it would shut after more than 25 years, and many names, in the city.
Now Baluga, which is housed in the Miller Arcade facing into Lancaster Road and Fishergate, has a new Monday night.
Radio One’s Charlie Sloth is the first DJ to play their new night, which starts from tonight (Monday 7 November).
General manager of Baluga Tom Havlin said: “I’m confident that us opening an extra night will be really good. We are looking to carve out a cultural narrative.
“We’re known as a safe place and have a good relationship with the people of Preston.”
The Monday night is to be known as Frat House Mondays and doors open from 10pm and drinks start from 89p.
