Now this is creepy….
A Preston-based Twitter account has made an appearance for Halloween – in real life.
The red phone boxes are a regular tweeter, along with the infamous Fishergate bollard, and the phone box poppued up in Preston Markets throughout Friday.
It was there as part of the Halloween display and pumpkin carving.
And the pumpkin competition was the first part of Preston’s Spooktacular.
A free afternoon of spooky fun takes place in Avenham Park from 1pm on Sunday (30 October).
There’s free party bags for the first 500 children at the event and prizes for the best creepy costume.
Activities include face painting, the Xplorer map challenge which takes you and your family across the park to find surprises, create a Grapestein Halloween Treat and an inflatable disco marquee.
Between 2pm and 3pm there’s a fancy dress bike ride, which you need to register in advance for.
The event, which runs until 4pm, is funded by the Big Lottery Fund ensuring it remains a free entry event.
Registration for the Spooktacular is from 1pm at the Pavilion in Avenham Park.
