Maklaine Bottomley is missing
Preston Police are searching for a nine-year-old boy who has gone missing from Preston.
Update: The boy has now been found safe and well.
Maklaine Bottomley was last seen at 3.15pm on Thursday, October 20 on Webster Street in Ashton-on-Ribble.
He was thought to have been heading to Sacred Heart Primary School to pick up his lunchbox but did not return home.
Insp Azz Khan of Preston Police said: “We are becoming ever more concerned about Maklaine as he is just nine years old and has been missing from home for nearly 24 hours now.
“We are worried about his welfare and if anyone has seen him or knows where he might be we would urge them to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
Maklaine is described as white, slim with mousey brown hair. He was last seen wearing a red jumper with a white polo shirt, a navy blue parka style coat, black trousers and black trainers.
