A teenager last seen at Burnley train station is believed to be in Preston.

Lancashire Police are appealing to trace Liam Martin, 14, who has not been seen for nearly a week.

Liam was seen boarding a train at Burnley bound for Preston at 2pm on Thursday 29 September.

PC 3274 Kev Loughlin from Leyland Police said: “We think that Liam is staying with friends in either Preston or Leyland but we need to get him back to his home in Burnley.

“He has been missing for five days now and so if anyone has seen him or knows where he is, we would urge them to contact us as soon as possible by calling 101 quoting incident reference LC-20160929-1431.”

Liam is white, 5’5″, with dark hair. He was last seen wering a black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
