Joshua is thought to be in the New Hall Lane area of the city

A teenage boy has gone missing from Ashton-on-Ribble.

Update: Preston Police said on Friday 14 October that Joshua had been found safe and well

Police are searching for 15-year-old Joshua Oakey who has not been seen for 10 days.

PC Rich Shires, of Lancashire Police said: “It has been almost 10 days since Joshua was last seen and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety. I would urge anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Joshua to contact us as soon as possible. I’d also like to appeal to Joshua to contact us directly.”

Joshua is described as white, 5’2″, slim build with dark brown hair.

He was last seen wearing black Nike trainers, a black tracksuit and a black baseball cap.

He is known to frequent the New Hall Lane area of the city.

Anyone with information regarding Joshua is asked to contact Lancashire Police quoting log number 1757 of 30th September 2016.
