Driver arrested after crash leaves car in front garden of Preston house

A driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink driver after a crash in the Plungington area of Preston.

Preston Police were called to the junction of Plungington Road and Blackpool Road at 8am on Sunday (2 October).

Fire crews from Preston and Fulwood fire stations also attended after one of the cars spun into the front of a house.

Pictures from police show the saloon car resting on the wall of a house close to the junction. A second estate car was also involved in the collision.

Police tweeted the driver of one of the vehicles was twice over the legal limit and is currently in custody.
