Following the string of roaring successes for Crafty Vintage fairs this year, organisers are planning a trio of Christmas markets to be held on the floating village at Brockholes Nature Reserve, Bowland Beer Hall in Clitheroe and Hoghton Tower.
Crafty Vintage fairs have proven extremely popular over the previous three years, with craft collectors, creatives and families coming together to enjoy a day brimming with arty activates.
With some of the finest independent creatives showcasing their work to an appreciative audience, together with varied entertainment and delicious artisan food, it’s no surprise that every event has been a success.
Last weekend’s gala, held last weekend at Hoghton Tower, prompted excellent feedback from both traders and attendees. Everything from the stalls, collectibles, entertainment, food and arts were praised.
Laura Johnson, the owner of Craft Vintage, said: “The atmosphere was amazing, we had medieval music providing the soundtrack to a backdrop of vintage vehicles, including a cocktail bar which had been converted from a horsebox. Many of the local independent traders experienced record sales with several selling out on the first day.”
This has encouraged Laura to start planning a Christmas extravaganza, with three craft fairs taking place around the end of November, just in time for the festive period.
