A colourful display has lit up Preston Minster as part of a month-long arts festival in the city.

The Student Choir of Nankai University performed to a packed audience for the Preston Arts Festival.

Chinese choristers perform at top concert venues around the world and performed a diverse range of Chinese minority folk classics.

Director of the UCLan Confucius Institute Feixia Yu said: “The performance of the Student Choir of Nankai University was superb. Their beautiful voices sounded fantastic in such a wonderful setting and I know the audience appreciated the range of their vocal talents. This really was a fantastic event celebrating Chinese music.”
