Graham will hopefully not be doing the whole thing in his pyjamas!
A BBC presenter is due to drag a bed through the streets of Preston as part of a challenge for Children in Need.
Graham Liver, who presents the BBC Radio Lancashire breakfast show, will be having anything but a lie in during November.
Setting off on Saturday 12 November he will be dragging a specially designed bed along the highways and byways of Lancashire.
For 100 miles he will set off from Pudsey near Bradford, West Yorkshire and finish at Bare in Morecambe, Lancashire.
Graham said: “Regular listeners to my breakfast show know I’m always moaning about how I don’t get to see enough of my bed so when the powers that be suggested Liver’s Lancashire Lie In, I jumped at the chance.
“Thankfully I’ll have a crack team of helpers with me the whole way, made up of BBC Radio Lancashire and BBC North West Tonight presenters – and maybe even one or two famous faces.
“Children in Need is one of the most important things the BBC does and seeing firsthand the difference the donations make to young people’s lives keeps me determined to complete the challenge and raise as much money as possible for such a vital cause.”
The challenge is expected to take Graham around a week to complete.
Schools and local organisations are invited to be involved, mike.stevens@bbc.co.uk is the person to contact.
