This is the view from the tallest church spire in England, on a traditionally gloomy and overcast Preston day.
AdvertisementHeritage Open Days have seen buildings throw open their doors for Prestonians to explore many listed and unusual buildings.
Not an unusual one but tours of St Walburge’s Church have proved popular with visitors allowed to climb the spire to get a view from the top.
Benny Mc’Nally went to St Walburge’s and snapped these views of the city centre and looking out to the west from his trip up the spire.
The Heritage Open Days run until Sunday at buildings across the city.
