Three sports cars worth tens of thousands of pounds have been set alight in an arson attack.

Two fire crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the Audi dealership in Ashton-on-Ribble during Tuesday night.

They found three cars, parked on the forecourt of the Chain Caul Way dealership, had been set alight.

A spokesman for the fire service said a crew from Preston and Penwortham had attended.

Lancashire Police have been notified of the incident, which took place around 9pm on Tuesday (27 September) and no one was hurt.
