A Fulwood homeowner has taken an investigation into his car being broken into into his own hands.

Colin Sinnott has released footage and pictures via social media from his home CCTV system.

His footage has been viewed 80,000 times on Facebook as part of his appeal and warning to other homeowners in the area.

His car was broken into between 8.45pm on Thursday 15 September and 8.55am on Friday 16 September.

Preston Police said they were investigating the footage and confirmed a Toyota car had been broken into and £20 stolen. The car was parked in Levensgarth Avenue.
