Car overturns causing delays on M6 near Preston

A car has overturned on a stretch of motorway near Preston.

One lane of the M6 southbound between Junction 32 (Broughton) and Junction 31 (Tickled Trout) is closed.

Highways England have officers on the scene recovering the vehicle.

The red car has been pictured on traffic cameras. The occupants of the car are not hurt.

Delays are occuring back to Junction 32 and having a knock-on effect on the M55 eastbound and the Broughton roundabout.

Normal traffic conditions are expected around 7pm on Friday (16 September).
