Police have concluded there was no foul play involved in how a woman fell from a block of flats in Preston city centre.
The 25-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after falling from the eighth floor of a flat in Sandown Court, Avenham.
Emergency services cordoned off the road shortly before 8am on Friday 26 August.
She was taken to Royal Preston Hospital and has now recovered well enough to tell Preston Police there was no third party involvement in the incident.
A 29-year-old man from Preston was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but has been released without charge.
