A glimpse inside Nick Park’s glorious Lancashire wedding has been granted.

He married Mags Connolly at Gibbon Bridge Hotel near Chipping on Friday afternoon.

Brenda Dell, who was amongst the small number of friends and family invited, said: “Congratulations Mags and Nick.

“The light shone on you both. I’ve never seen two people who were so happy, they couldn’t stop laughing.

“May the sun shine on you ever more.”

Mr Park, 57, is one of Preston’s most famous sons, with four Oscars to his name for his animations including Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run.

And the wedding certainly featured a nod to his two most famous creations.

Wallace and Gromit were up on the big screen as well as atop a cheese cake (a tower of cheese) for guests to enjoy.
