Prestonians will be starting to make their way to Bramham Park today for Leeds Festival 2016.

The festival will be headlined by Foals, Fall Out Boy, Biffy Clyro, Disclosure and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Weather has a big impact on how much people enjoy events. With that in mind we’ve put together a five-day weather forecast for anyone heading down to the festival.

Decent conditions for setting up your tent. No more than a 10% chance of rain at any point in the day.

Temperatures will not rise above 22C although there will be some strong humidity to deal with.

It’s Thursday at Leeds, so of course it’s going to rain. Expect it to start at 11am and likely continue through until past midnight.

The rain will stop around 4am on Friday. By 7am the sun will be out and it’s expected to remain clear and sunny all day.

The hope here is that this does enough to dry out the ground. Expect highs of 21C.

Another humid day with two expected spells of rain.

The first is predicted from around 10am until 4pm. It will then start again at 10pm and continue into the night.

The rain should have stopped on Sunday by around 1pm. By this point, the rain will be done for the weekend.

It will stay dry into Monday with sunny spells making it decent conditions for packing down and getting home.
