Walkers will tackle the sands of Morecambe Bay later this year in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice.
The walk will be led by the Queen’s Guide to the Sands, Cedric Robinson MBE, and will give supporters the opportunity to enjoy one of the country’s most popular scenic walks, with spectacular panoramic views.
The charity is encourage people to gather sponsors and donations for the charity in exchange for taking part.

“Walking the sands of Morecambe Bay is on a lot of people’s ‘to do’ list, and involves trekking over various terrains – including wading through water – whilst enjoying the
“It’s great fun, and is an important part of the St Catherine’s fundraising calendar, helping us to continue caring for people with life shortening illnesses.”
The walk takes place on Saturday, September 10 beginning in Arnside at 11.15am.
Registration is £10 and the cost of the journey to the walk and back is also £10. A coach will depart from St Catherine’s Hospice at 9am and return around 4pm.
