The rider of a motorbike and his passengers are in hospital after a crash in Larches on Wednesday evening.

A black Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a silver Jaguar in Greaves Town Lane.

Preston Police closed the road for around an hour and a number of ambulances were called.

A police spokesman said: “A male motorcyclist and female passenger suffered internal injuries and were taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.

“The male driver of the Jaguar was uninjured.”

The incident happened around 5pm on Wednesday (17 August) and the road reopened at 6.15pm.

Police are not appealing for any witnesses to the incident at this stage.
