Tours exploring the history of Winckley Square are to be held as part of the annual Heritage Open Days.

Work has begun on the gardens which are closed to the public for two months.
As part of the national heritage days there’s a chance to go behind the scenes of the work and have a guided tour.
The Winckley Square work is costing £1.2m and is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund along with Preston BID and others.

The tours take place on Saturday 10 September and Sunday 11 September, running at 11am, 1pm and 3pm on both days.
